Punalur Municipal Credit Union (MCU) is the federation of 25 SHG’s in Maniyar, Ashtamangalam and Kelankavu wards in Punalur Municipality. The Annual day celebration of the programme for the year 2022-2023 was on 18/05/2023. The function started at 10:30am. Programme was inaugurated by Mrs. Sujatha.S, Chair-person of Punalur Municipality. 6 ward counsellers, Punalur social Service Society Asst. Director Rev.Fr.Vineeth Benedict, Staff from Punalur Social Service Society participated in it. The best SHG is honored by the Chief guest. Representatives from 25 SHG’s participants. Total participated were 112.
